Finding the Inner Athlete

There are two main things that keep me going to Base 10 everyday: the change you see in yourself, and the people. I started out pretty weak. Looking back, and being able to see how far I’ve come and how I can push myself past where I was last week, last month, last year is really awesome.

Going to Base 10 is the best part of my day because I get to see friends and it really feels like a big workout family. In and out of the gym I have made some great friends and people that enjoy working out as much as me.

WHAT MUSIC DAY PUMPS YOU UP THE MOST IN THE GYM?

I love working out with music as long as it is loud and has a beat I’m there lip-synching.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF WORKOUT?

I like longer workouts. I have my favorites but I enjoy being challenged and getting better at the ones I’m not good at.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE?

I’m all about the music. I wake up and that is the first thing I do is turn on Pandora, sing, and practice dance moves while I shower and get ready. The world just isn’t ready for all that in public.
