Mom of Two Loses the Weight

Like a lot of people, after I got married I put on a few pounds…then I had kids and put on a few more–with each kid. I was having problems with headaches and not sleeping well, and I decided I needed to do something about it.

 

I started walking, and trying to eat differently, but I wasn’t seeing much of a difference, and I really didn’t enjoy it. Then I found Base 10; the workouts are actually fun. Definitely hard work, but fun.

 

My body started to change in a way I liked, and I began to realize I was more motivated by what my body could do, and less by how much weight I was losing. I now feel stronger, more confident, and healthier than I ever have.

 

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE?

Definitely chocolate.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF WORKOUT?

My favorite workouts are the ones that make me push past the voice telling me to stop. I also love lifting weights, it’s not just for boys any more, and I love it.

WHAT MUSIC DAY PUMPS YOU UP THE MOST IN THE GYM?

Dubstep Thursday– even though I didn’t know what kind of music this was until starting Base 10. I find the beats keep me going and I like there aren’t any words; it helps me not lose my place counting my reps.
